The Argentine World Cup winner is believed to want to stay in Europe for at least one more season.

His return to Barcelona would be hugely popular amongst fans, who chanted Messi’s name in the tenth minute of their clash with Real Madrid.

Neymar, 31, on the other hand completed a world record transfer to the French giants in 2017 from the LaLiga side.

And with the Brazilian earning a reported £606,000-per-week it could be time for PSG to cut their losses.

Neymar however, has one more year left on his contract which would mean the club would have to find a buyer willing to take on the financial responsibility of the winger.

While the duo could leave the club, PSG are believed to be desperate to keep Mbappe along with Nuno Mendes, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marco Verratti, Danilo Pereira and Marquinhos.
