Minister of Aviation, Hadi Siriki has revealed that Nigeria is set to start the manufacturing of planes before the end of 2023.
Hadi Siriki said this while paying an official visit to the Magnus Aircraft Industry in Pogany, Hungary recently.
According to the minister, if Nigeria partners with the Hungarian aircraft company, then it will be possible to start with assembling airplanes before manufacturing will finally commence in the country.
“If we venture with them, we may start with assembling plant and later manufacturing,” Hadi Siriki said, in a statement released by his spokesman James Odaudu.
The Magnus plane, acccording to him, uses normal car petrol and outperforms any training aircraft of its type. He also expressed satisfaction with the readiness set up to start production in Nigeria.
