HORST PLAY MANCHESTER UNITED fans really were united after Wout Weghorst bagged his first goal for the club.

The Netherlands international opened his account for the club in the first leg of United’s Carabao Cup semi-final tie with Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

And his finish – and how he’s settled in at his new club better than new Al-Nassr star Ronaldo – quickly became the talk of the Old Trafford faithful.

“I’ve played against the club in the past and it’s a fantastic feeling to now have the chance to pull on the famous red shirt.

“I’ve seen United’s progress under Erik ten Hag this season and can’t wait to start playing my part in pushing the team towards its aims.
