Injury Update : Manchester United give team news and Anthony Martial and Christian Eriksen updates vs Spurs

Anhony Martial will not be available for Manchester United against Tottenham but Christian Eriksen could return against his former club.

Martial has been troubled by a back injury he sustained against Everton on October 9 and he is due to miss his 10th game of United’s 14 this term.

Eriksen missed the goalless draw with Newcastle on Sunday but resumed training on Tuesday and will be assessed on the day of the game to determine whether he starts.

United manager Erik ten Hag suggested Harry Maguire, Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka would return to training this week after their lay-offs.

“Anthony Martial is not available,” Ten Hag said. “He’s back on the pitch but not in the team training. Christian Eriksen returned in the team training today and we have to see how that works out, how he will recover, if he has the energy tomorrow, so we have to wait for that.
