The German returned to management this month at Bayern Munich and Havertz revealed it would be difficult to turn down the German giants if they made an approach.

Havertz, 23, told Sport Bild: “Bayern are generally a huge club that it’s hard to say no to as a German player, but my personal goal has always been to play abroad at some point. In England or Spain. ”

And Havertz could not rule out reuniting with his former manager Tuchel.

The forward added: “I had a very good relationship with him and am very grateful for everything.

“You never know what will happen in football. Everything can happen very quickly. Never say never.”

Mason Mount is also believed to be considering a transfer to Bayern to link up with Tuchel.

The midfielder could even join Liverpool in the summer after talks with Chelsea over a new deal stalled.

Mount, 24, is out of contract in 2024 and reportedly wants to be one of Chelsea’s highest earners.

And his refusal to put pen to paper could force Chelsea to sell this summer to avoid losing him on a free.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also said to be interested in the England international, though the Blues are reportedly demanding £70million to let him leave.
