Ex-Arsenal star Nasri reveals Zidane’s dream manager job and why he will snub Premier League after Man Utd links

ZINE LIVES SAMIR NASRI has revealed Zinedine Zidane’s dream job.

But the ex-Arsenal and Man City forward has warned Premier League clubs Zidane is NOT interested in working in England after snubbing Man Utd.

Zizou, 50, has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid in June 2021.

The Frenchman enjoyed two fine spells in charge of his old side, leading them to two LaLiga titles and three Champions Leagues.

Zidane was strongly linked with the United job following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sacking in November 2021.

But the World Cup winner rejected the opportunity to move to England, leading to United hiring Ralf Rangnick.

And ex-Premier League winner Nasri has now revealed Zidane has little intention of ever managing in England’s top flight, dealing a blow to any potential suitors.

Nasri explained: “He feels that his energy doesn’t align with what is happening there.”

However, Nasri claims Zidane would jump at the opportunity to manage boyhood club Marseille.

Nasri added: “If there is a club owner with a real budget and a good sporting project [Zidane will take it]. He is a true Marseillais.”

Meanwhile, former Arsenal star Robert Pires claims Zidane was desperate to become France boss after December’s World Cup final defeat to Argentina.

But he saw his dream end when French chiefs decided to keep hold of Didier Deschamps.

Pires explained: “What Zidane wanted was France’s national team.

“But there’s not a lot of clubs that can afford Zizou.”
