The Role: Care Worker in Brisbane South

As a Care Worker at Wesley Mission Queensland, your role will be both rewarding and impactful. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your compassion and skills to the forefront as you work closely with clients in their homes and communities. Whether you’re assisting with personal care and medication, providing social support, engaging clients in community activities, performing light housekeeping, shopping, or assisting with transportation, your contributions will directly enhance the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistance with Personal Care and Medication: Ensure clients receive the essential care they need.
  • Social Support and Community Engagement: Foster connections and promote a sense of belonging within the community.
  • Light Housekeeping: Help clients maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Shopping: Assist with grocery shopping and errands.
  • Assistance with Transport: Enable clients to access essential services and activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar qualification.
  • Cert III Traineeship Program Available: If you’re not yet qualified, we offer opportunities for growth.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proof of a comprehensively insured and registered motor vehicle.
  • Current QLD Driver’s Licence.
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, including the recent booster.
