Shooters have killed Abubakar Abdullahi, the director of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria in the Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The assault occurred in the early long periods of Friday as per the Director of Media and Publicity of MACBAN in Kaduna State, Ibrahim Bayero-Zango.
As per Punch, the MACBAN’s representative expressed that the aggressors raided the home of the director, prominently known as Dambardi, in Lere town at about 1am.
He added that the shooters requested N20 Million from him before he was whisked away to where he was subsequently killed along the Saminaka-Mariri-Zango parkway.
He said, “Early today, one of our individuals called to educate the authorities regarding the state part of MACBAN that at about 1:00am (Friday), obscure shooters assaulted the home of the administrator of MACBAN in Lere LGA and killed him.
“At the point when they showed up at the house at about 1:00am, they requested the amount of N20m from him to save his life yet he disclosed to them he had no such cash.
“In spite of the fact that he had the option to raise N250,000 for the attackers, they took him to the rear of the town along the Saminaka-Mariri-Zango parkway where they shot him dead.”
The MACBAN representative, while denouncing the assault, approached the state government and security offices to examine the assault to uncover the culprits of the grievous demonstration.
“We absolutely censure this grievous demonstration and we are interested in the state government and the Police to completely investigate the assault and fish out the culprits of the assault.
“This is on the grounds that Lere is one of the serene regions in the state where there has been no issue of herder-rancher emergency.
“There has been no issue of cows stirring nearby at the same time, shockingly, someone like the killed director of MACBAN, a solid ally and advertiser of harmony in Lere, could be excessively mercilessly gunned down into the point that way.
“We are pitiful over the occurrence,” he added.
