by Actress Mary Njoku has countered the post of AGN’s president Emeka Rollas saying Nollywood is indeed a dumping ground to all society rejects and unemployed.
The president of AGN, Emeka Rollas reacting to claims of BBNaija evictee Tega saying she and Boma knacking was just acting said Nollywood is not a dumping site for evictees hence she shouldn’t be dreaming of joining them.
A lot of people have disagreed with Emeka Rollas on this and Mary Njoku happens to be one of them who lifted Nollywod high saying it is Nigeria’s number one rehabilitation center and indeed a dumping ground to all society rejects and unemployed.
According to her, Nollywood is a shelter to all who have lost their ways and is a mother to the confused and misunderstood in society because she doesn’t judge and she doesn’t care about your past and she gives a clean slate to all.
Mary Njoku added that Nollywood gives room to all and she doesn’t discriminate or care about what the world thinks of you as she holds you till you find your feet in society therefore anyone can make it in Nollywood and the majority of them wouldn’t have been who they are today if not for Nollywood.
Majority of us were unemployable in the society when we joined Nollywood. No degree. No certificates.
If not for Nollywood so many people would have committed suicide because of stigmatization and discrimination.
