Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has defected to the All Progressives Congress.
Omisore contested the 2018 governorship poll on the platform of the Social Democratic Party but went into coalition with the APC before the September 28 rerun.
Omisore on Monday arrived at his polling Unit at Ward 6 in Ile-Ife to officially defect to the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
He reportedly arrived in the convoy of the Osun State Deputy Governor, Benedict Alabi, to pick the APC membership card.
Also present at the event was APC Caretaker Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun, and other chieftains of the party.
