Eden Hazard Injury Report : Has patellar tendinosis in his left knee

There is no light at the end of the tunnel for Eden Hazard, who finds himself on the Real Madrid medical report once again.

The Belgian has struggled with physical issues throughout his time at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and he now has a left knee injury, one which means he isn’t on this weekend’s squad list for the trip to Mallorca.

“After the tests carried out today on Eden Hazard by Real Madrid medical services, he has been diagnosed with patellar tendinosis in his left knee and is under observation,” the club explained in an official statement.

Hazard’s last LaLiga appearances was in September

Even when he has been healthy, Hazard hasn’t been used by Carlo Ancelotti.

In fact, his last LaLiga Santander outing was in the previous clash with Real Mallorca, back on September 9.

So far this season, he has only appeared in seven total games for 296 minutes, with his only three starts coming against Celtic in Glasgow in the first Champions League match, against Real Mallorca in the aforementioned league game and against Cacereno in the Copa del Rey.

Hazard was having fewer physical problems this year than in previous seasons, although he has not started 2023 in the same way.

He already missed the Copa del Rey derby and the match against Athletic in LaLiga Santander due to an ankle injury. Now it is a knee injury that ruled him out.
